David el grande: Análisis del único hombre que era según el corazón de Dios
by Mark Rutland
Item Number: 1452
Dear Deb: A Woman with Cancer, a Friend with Secrets, and the Letters That Became Their Miracle
by Margaret Terry
Item Number: 1379
Book -- What do you say to a friend who has terminal cancer?
Margaret Terry wondered what she would say to her friend Deb, when Deb was told she had inoperable stage 4 lung cancer. Deb believed that God would give her a miracle, but no one really knew what that miracle would look like. However, instead of sending prayers or home-cooked meals, Margaret sent Deb stories. In the form of dozens of letters over the course of six months, Margaret shared herself in intimate stories from her life that revealed her questions, and her faith. As the months went by, Margaret's letters renewed Deb's hope, as she shared them with friends and family who passed them on to hundreds of people in seven countries. The letters became Deb's miracle by helping to carry her from this life to the next with faith against insurmountable odds.
In Dear Deb, Margaret shares 55 of the letters she wrote to Deb during her last months. As Deb did, you'll find comfort and hope in her stories of loss and renewal, childhood and growth, and faith and miracles. You'll discover how God often answers our prayers in unexpected ways, through the love we have for each other.

Defeating Darwinism by Opening Minds
by Phillip E. Johnson
Item Number: 1120
Book -- For decades, Christians have felt voiceless in the critical debate over evolution. Until now. Finally, ordinary Christians have the opportunity and the resources to defeat the false claims of Darwinism.
With all of the complicated scientific debate swirling around the topic of evolution, Christians need an easy way to understand the basic issues without oversimplifying. Phillip Johnson has the answer: the key to defeating the false claims of Darwinism is to open our minds to good thinking habits. Here is first-rate advice on avoiding common mistakes in discussions about evolution, understanding the legacy of the Scopes trial, spotting deceptive arguments, and grasping the basic scientific issues without getting bogged down in unnecessary details.
In the bestselling and critically acclaimed Darwin on Trial and Reason in the Balance, Phillip Johnson took on the academic elites and exposed the misleading claims of evolutionary naturalism. Defeating Darwinism by Opening Minds provides a new and powerful treatment of these issues for high-school students, parents, teachers, pastors, youth advisors and ordinary readers. Johnson aims not just to defeat a bad theory, but to defeat it in the right way-by opening minds to the truth.

She trusted that the things that made him different were the very things that could make him great. Join Sally and Nathan as they share their stories from a personal perspective as mother and son. If you are in need of help and hope in your own journey with an outside-the-box child, or if you're an adult trying to make sense of your differences, you'll find deep insight, resonance, and encouragement in this book.
